This Privacy Policy explains how Skilloras ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use skilloras.com and the Skilloras apps (the "Service"). Skilloras is operated from Singapore and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, phone number (optional), profile photo.
- Location data: the neighborhood, city, or country you choose for visibility. Precise GPS is used only with your permission to suggest a location.
- Content: skills, market listings, tasks, services, job posts, resumes, messages, and reviews you create.
- Usage data: device type, app version, pages viewed, and interactions, collected to keep the Service secure and improve it.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider; we store only plan, status, and the last four digits of a card.
2. AI features
AI Search & Chat sends your query and relevant listing data to our servers to generate results. Queries are retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention and then deleted or anonymised. On-device AI chat runs entirely on your device; those conversations are not transmitted to Skilloras.
3. How we use information
- Provide, personalise, and secure the Service.
- Show your listings to members within your chosen reach.
- Process subscriptions and send transactional messages.
- Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
Public profile content is visible to other members within your selected reach. We share data with service providers (hosting, payments, email, analytics) under contract, and with authorities when required by law. We never sell personal data.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law or for dispute resolution.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from Settings or by emailing privacy@skilloras.com. Residents of the EU/EEA and UK have additional rights under GDPR, including objection and restriction.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to security@skilloras.com.
8. Children
Skilloras is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
